What this task is

You hear a sentence (3–9 seconds long) once, then repeat it exactly. Like Read Aloud, it scores two skills at once — Listening and Speaking — so it's very high value.

How to score well

Don't try to understand the sentence — focus on capturing the exact words and rhythm.
Break it into 3–4 word chunks in your head as you hear it.
Start speaking immediately — the longer you wait, the more you forget.
Even getting 60–70% of the words in the right order scores well, so never stay silent.
Match the speaker's rhythm and stress, not just the words.
